I paint birds and other beasts settings from real to fantastical to chase a sense of awe in the natural world I felt when reading both fantasy novels and the works of the German Romantics as I came of age. I work primarily in oils because it helps me feel connected to a long line of great painters going back centuries.

I am a former teacher with a Masters of Education from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst who has found that the skills for organizing, scaffolding, and making learning accessible in the classroom are skills that anyone can use to help themselves achieve their goal. My job as an executive function coach is to help you identify the barriers that are keeping you from achieving your goals and work together to find strategies and skills to help you achieve them.
